We have seen red velvet cupcakes and cakes, but this is the first time that we have come across a red velvet corn dog.
Food blogger Kyle Marcoux of The Vulgar Chef got drunk one day and decided to create this wacky hybrid dish.
Marcoux told BuzzFeed that his latest creation was inspired by all the gross fair food he has seen, and wondered why no one had ever thought of coating the hot dog with red velvet.
Apart from the red velvet corn dog, he also experimented with blueberry pancake corn dogs—he wrote on his blog, “When you see this shit at your county cock fair or whatever just remember where you saw it first.”
