European design studio Bless has created a very literal expression of a computer that encourages fitness, but not in the way that one would expect.
Desiree Heiss and Ines Kaagin, founders of Bless, have created the ‘Punching Bag Computer’. It is a spin on the “fitness meets workplace” phenomenon, taking a jab at treadmill desks or standing up desks.
To type a word on this computer, one must individually punch the alphabets and navigate the keys, making users work out for 10 times longer than typing on a normal keyboard.
The Punching Bag Computer is currently on display at the Istanbul Design Biennial.
