Today’s featured work comes from graphic designer Koke Núñez Gómez from Spain. He’s photographed a creative set of alphabets using cherry-tree petals and branches.
Although typically seen as a Japanese thing, Sakura or cherry trees are found throughout the world. In this project, Koke used Sakura petals and branches from Valle del Jerte, a small mountainous region in Spain. Along with a black cardboard and a Nikon D3000 he composed every letter and the typography’s name ‘Sakura’.
