Chicago bar-owner Julie Palmer has invented a simple, spherical apparatus that will allow drinkers to inhale alcohol instead of drink it.
Working like a traditional vaporizer, the Vaportini gently heats up alcoholic substances until they release intoxicating vapors—which is then inhaled through a glass straw.
The alcoholic vapors produced by the Vaportini is smooth and flavorful, and absorbed directly into the bloodstream—they do not contain any calories, and allow more control as the intoxicating effect of alcohol is felt right away.
While it is unlikely to replace the drinking of alcohol, it is an intriguing way to imbibe.
