Photographer Coralie Gourguechon has developed a cute DIY digital camera—simply named “Craft Camera”—as part of his graduation project that is made of cardboard.
The objective of the project is to “counter planned obsolescence and complexity of electronic products”, which invariably leads to their high costs.
Using an electronic system by open-source platform Arduino, the affordable self-made camera features a simple but attractive geometric-shaped body—a cut-and-assemble template of it can be printed onto sturdy cardboard.
The photos taken with the Craft Camera are stored on a memory card and can be displayed on a computer—you can contact Gourguechon via email to receive detailed instructions and the printable body template.
