An Instant-Brew ‘Coffee Bean’, Just Add Hot Water

Brewing coffee from beans can be a laborious process that few people have time for these days—but there is still a certain romantic notion associated with this old-school method, and not to mention the superior flavor.

Based in Munich and Seoul, creative studio Ahhaproject has created a brilliantly packaged instant coffee that comes in the form of coffee bean-shaped capsules.

These ‘coffee beans’ are actually compressed instant coffee that have been coated in sugar—simply pop one or two of these, depending on how strong you like your coffee, into hot water and your coffee fix is ready for drinking.

According to its creator, the aroma of coffee is perfectly preserved by the beans’ sugar coating—now you can get the feel of bean-brewed coffee without the hassle.
