Visual artist Diet Wiegman highlights in his shadow series, the mysteries and wonders of light.

He artfully sculpted irregular, abstract-looking structures that cast incredibly detailed and precise silhouettes, when light shone on them from particular angles.

The most striking piece in the series is a seemingly unidentifiable sculpture that casts a shadow evoking the spirit and stance of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Other noted figures 'resurrected' in shadow form in Wiegman's series are: Venus de Milo, Atlas, and Michelangelo's David.
