Photographer Magdalena Bors has created a series called ‘The Seventh Day’, wherein each photo features a person either lost or part of a fantastical and surreal domestic environment.
The indoor spaces are filled with Dr-Seuss-like tree branches, artificial plants, stalagmite rocks and other not-supposed-to-be-indoors imaginative creations.
The construction of these bizarre environments creates a visual connection between people and the natural world that we used to be very much part of.
Bors commented that she is most inspired and “fascinated by the simultaneous strength and fragility of this connection as we go about our lives,” as we go about it “spending most of our time within the confines of the small compartments we call home.”
