Artist Robert de Luca and designer Antonio Scarponi have collaborated to create a portable office or hotel room concept for the Swiss design firm, Daskonzept.
Their design is called ‘Hotello’ and the tiny unit of just 4 square meters can be packed into a trunk.
Comprised of a metal structure supporting a translucent and sound absorbent curtain, Hotello seems to have the needs of the modern-day-person, in mind. It also contains other necessary items that a person needs for work and rest.
It can also be arranged multiple ways to suit its prospective owner's spacial needs or circumstances.
Would you consider traveling with a portable hotel/office space that you can call your own?
[The overall Hotello design will be presented at the Fuori Salone 2013 in Milano at the Fabbrica del Vapore in via Procaccini 4 from 9-14 of April 2013.]
