Stapleton & St George weekly status “The Noise”
‘HereHere NYC’ is a Microsoft Research Project by NYC's Open 311 data and FUSE Labs that produces weekly updates on NYC Neighborhoods in the form of illustrated cartoons.
The 42 neighborhoods in NYC are categorized into the five boroughs—Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island.
Based on information collected from 311, a database for citizen complaints, the team behind ‘Here Here NYC’ will analyze and determine the most critical issue. After which, they will generate a cartoon to update the residents on the latest happenings.
According to ‘Here Here NYC’, the projects aims to explore the ways that data can be used to engage larger communities to discuss hyper-local issues.
