In celebration of the National Punctuation Day, which falls on 24 September each year, Mental_floss has created an infographic that lists 13 forgotten punctuation marks.
These punctuation marks were created to exaggerate and place greater emphasis on meanings when the commonly used apostrophes, question marks and exclamation point won't suffice.
For instance, the “percontation point” was proposed by Henry Denham as an end to a rhetorical question, and the “exclamation comma” and “question comma” can be used without the need to break the flow of a sentence.
What do you think of these punctuation marks—should these be included into our daily use?
