Japanese manufacturer Taka Tomy Arts has created an amusing product that will transform your hot beverages into a cafe-worthy cuppa adorned with “latte art” instantly.

Marketed as ‘Deco Latte’, these cocoa-colored, flavorless sheets made with gelatin will dissolve into your hot beverage to reveal fun patterns, just like the latte art painstakingly created by trained baristas.

The patterns produced by these Deco Latte sheets can last up to two minutes, and they are available in various designs, including Snoopy and Rilakkuma.

The sheets may not be able to replicate the frothy experience found in a latte, but they sure make for a visually pleasing treat.

The Deco Latte will be available for sale from 1 December 2014 at 500 yen, or US$4.36 approximately, for a pack of 10 sheets.
