Moleskine’s ‘Smart Notebooks’ Transfer Your Sketches To Photoshop Directly

Moleskine has collaborated with Adobe to create a new collection of ‘Smart Notebooks’ that transforms your hand-drawn sketches into vector files, which can be accessed via your Adobe Creative Cloud account instantly.

Unlike its ‘Livescribe’ notebooks that translate handwritten notes digitally, these Smart Notebooks convert your sketches into workable vector files, allowing you to make further adjustments and edits on Adobe Photoshop CC or Illustrator CC.

To use these Smart Notebooks, simply capture a photo of your sketches with the free iOS accompanying app, which then syncs your work to the Adobe Creative Cloud.

The special page markers found in the Smart Notebook help the app to “optimize and process” your sketches before converting them to a JPG and SVG file format.

As shown in its promotional video, these new Smart Notebooks seem to be targeted at designers who enjoy working on the go.
