Budweiser Brazil has introduced a new way to befriending people on Facebook, by first socializing with them over drinks in real life.
Called the ‘Buddy Cup’, the cup has a chip integrated with Facebook—when users clink cups together at a party or event, they’d be made friends on Facebook instantly.
Users first have to scan the code on the bottom of the high-tech cup with their smartphones, to pair the Buddy Cup to their Facebook profile.
When Buddy Cups touch, a red light flashes on the cups to confirm the adding of new friends on the social networking site.
