Portland, Oregon-based artist Nicholas Hyde, who goes by the moniker Harshness, has reimagined comic book heroes in the style of ancient Greek pottery art.
Similar to heroes of Greek mythology—such as Hercules, Perseus and Achilles, to name a few—in Harshness’ series, Batman, Spider-Man and Thor are captured fighting their rivals.
