‘Eerie, Deserted Boston’ As Captured By Its Residents During The Manhunt

@someaunty

When Boston was on lockdown a few days ago—for the police to look for the Boston Marathon Bombings suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev—residents of the Massachusetts capital were asked to stay home and stay inside.

This resulted in the streets of the city being deserted, giving a somewhat eerie yet surreal feel—even when photographed by its own residents.

NBC collected the photographs captured by ‘Bostonians’ that poured in on Twitter and Instagram.
