For Whiskas cat food new marketing campaign, London-based ad agency Abbott Meads Vickers BBDO brings out the natural instincts of felines.
In ‘Big Cat, Small Cat’, the campaign encourages cat owners to “feeding your cat’s instincts”—depicting the little household felines as big wild cats.
As opposed to the typical ‘cute cat’ approach common in cat food ads, the agency takes on beautifully filmed spot and photographed ads that show: a domestic cat transforming into a leopard as it roams the snow outside; hunting elephants, zebras and gazelles; and bonding with a alpha male lion—encouraging you to ‘feed’ their natural instincts.
