Portland-based advertising creatives Matt More and Jason Kreher at Wieden+Kennedy have come up with SchadenFreezers, fictional ice popsicles that contain a mildly offensive joke.
SchadenFreezers are described as ‘The orange, grape and cherry-flavored joy derived from the suffering of others.’ Each contains a shocking ‘joke’ that is revealed after the popsicle is eaten.
Borrowing an idea from the German word Schadenfreude, which means “pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others”, Schaden Freezers are a hilarious way to humor yourself while indulging in an icy treat--if only they were real.
