Artists Create Life-Sized WW2 Plane With Egg Cartons To Support A Good Cause

UK-based Jack Munro and Charlotte Austen have recently build a plane out of egg cartons to support a good cause, Eggs for Soldiers

Munro and Austen built a plane modelled after the Mark I Spitfire, a British single seater plane used in WW2. It is 40 feet long and 42.5 feet wide.

To build this plane, they constructed a model with timber and the mainframe with steel. The outer cover was constructed using 6500 egg cartons and took 6 weeks to be complete, using 1.5 gallons of glue, 10000 staples, 5000 nails and 2.5 gallons of paint.

The result is this quirky egg carton model of a plane, which surely shows support for Eggs for Soldiers.
