Intricately Detailed Flowers Made Of Animal Bones

With an interest in the cycle of life, death and re-birth, Japanese artist Hideki Tokushige uses the bones of dead animals to construct “flowers”.

Titled “Honebana”, each flower is detailed and hauntingly lovely, reminding us that what remains of our physical bodies after death can give rise to something new.

Highly spiritual in nature, these art objects beg the viewer to take a break from this fast-paced world to re-examine and celebrate life.
