The students over at Escola Cuca, a school for creatives in Sao Paulo, Brazil, have come up with a concept app for Coca-Cola.
Called ‘Jack, The Athlete Polar Bear’, the app features the animated bear as the virtual pet that encourages children and teens to live a more active lifestyle.
In line with the soft-drink giant’s new mission to combat obesity and promote healthier lifestyles—the app requires its owners to exercise, in order to keep their digital pet polar bear healthy too.
When Jack wants to go for a stroll, users would have to go out to walk as well—with the phone’s GPS, the app will be able to tell if users actually went for a walk.
Users would also have to do exercises, which can be tracked with the help of the motion sensors of the phone.
When tasks are done correctly, points would be earned and special features would be unlocked—motivating users to be more active.
What do you think—should Coca-Cola officialize Escola Cuca’s students’ app idea?
