This week last year, Hurricane Sandy ravaged through the East Coast of America—causing billions of dollars in damages, destroying countless homes and leaving millions without power.
Taken for The Weather Channel’s special ‘One Year After Sandy’ feature, photographer Natan Dvir revisited Sandy-affected areas to capture their recovery process.
He previously shot the ‘before’ photos between 30 October and 4 November last year.
This series aims to commemorate the one year anniversary of Sandy and showcase the resiliency of New York City and its residents.
