Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei put up a colossal installation of 3,144 bicycles that rivals his previous installation at the Galleria Continua in Italy.
Displayed in Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square, the newer version of ‘Forever Bicycles’ featured thousands of identical stainless steel bicycles stacked 100 feet in length and 30 feet in height and depth.
Brilliantly lit up with pink and blue lights, the massive installation was a sight to behold in all its beautiful chrome and geometry.
The installation will be displayed until 27th October as part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche.
