Photo Series Explores Cities, Its Mundane Events And Emotional Impact

Intrigued by urban spaces, its tall mysterious buildings, crowds of strangers and endless seas of concrete—Chicago-based photographer Clarissa Bonet explores and describes cities in her photographs.

Her ongoing series, entitled ‘City Space’, examines the physical space of cities and its emotional and psychological impact on the body.

Using stark light, deep shadow and muted color, she reconstructs mundane events she experienced of witnessed within the metropolis and reinterprets them in her own way.
