Hong Kong-based creative studio Artonomos has created a statement-making wooden tray that would make tea-time even more enjoyable than usual.
The “Confluence” tray is carved out of Birch plywood and features an elegantly undulating surface that is inspired by topographic maps of natural landscapes.
A “large central reservoir” lies at the center of the tray, which serves as a “miniature lake” that holds any excess tea that may be spilled—“As the tea gathers, the level gradually rises just like a lake does when it rains.”
