Architect turned artist David Foster has created some amazing portraits just by using nails.
Foster begins by taking a photograph and turning it into a sketch with an ink pen. The inked drawing serves as a guide for him to know where to place the nails and once the drawing is enlarged, the hammering starts.
“I have always been fascinated with how little information the brain needs to interpret a picture and love the simplicity of a picture made up from just dots,” said the artist.
