Artist Playfully Interacts With Hyperrealistic Paintings Of People Swimming

Venezulela-based artist Gustavo Silva Nuñez has created a series of hyperrealistic paintings of people swimming.

His subjects are seen submerged in pools of water, floating and swimming gracefully, seemingly enjoying the cool of the water as he playfully interacts with them by pretending to grab their wrist or legs while he completes the finishing touches to his artworks.

His impeccable painting skills cause the surface and ripples of water to be extremely lifelike, with sparkling reflections of light and realistic body distortion underwater.
