As part of the Ciudad Intervenida project, ‘Pateon de Dolores’ is an animated short cartoon film curated by Mexico City animation collective Llama Rada.
The animation was projected onto headstones in the Dolores Cemetery in Mexico City, celebrating life and death in a vibrant and upbeat musical interpretation, which was a stark contrast to the sombre atmosphere.
The Ciudad Intervendia project aims to reinvent iconic places in the city through these site animated interventions.
