Body paint artist Trina Merry, who previously created an incredible human temple using 17 people, recently sent a group of models onto the streets of New York City clad in little else than body paint.
With the help of expertly-applied paint, she made them blend into famous landmarks like the Guggenheim Museum, Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park.
The models had to pose topless and remain very still while Merry painted them, a time-consuming process that required hours of patience.
The artist said that she was inspired by her move from San Francisco to New York City earlier this year.
“I wanted to engage the city and understand it and make some observations. So instead of a person right in front of the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty, they’re softy in the background, and you’ve got more of a reflective view of the person within the landscape.”
