Designer Creates A 3D-Printed Wheeled Cart For Puppy With Missing Front Legs

Mark Deadrick, president of design, manufacturing and consulting firm 3dyn, has took it upon himself to make a puppy’s life better upon learning news of it being born without its front legs.

San Diego-based Deadrick, with years of experience in the aerospace and automotive industry, created three different wheeled carts for the Chihuahua puppy, named ‘Turbo.Roo’.

Each was an improvement from the previous one, as Deadrick had only thumbnail measurements of provided photos to work with.

In approximately four hours, Deadrick came up with the design of the cart and printed it out with the help of a 3D-modeling software and printer. The cart was then fixed with skateboard wheels and shipped to Turbo.Roo.

According to 3DPrint.com, “Turbo.Roo is still getting used to the cart, but he is having a much easier time getting around, and he seems to be quite content.”
