Actor Tom Hanks, together with Hitcents, created ‘Hanx Writer’, a quirky app that lets you enjoy a manual typewriter experience on your iPad—complete with its collection of “clickety-clacking” typewriter sounds.
With the ‘Hanx Writer’, you can create documents, such as personal letters and notes, that can be emailed, printed and shared to your recipients.
If you are prone to making mistakes while typing on a real typewriter, the app’s ‘DELETE’ key will cover up your tracks without making you start over.
Hanks said that “With Hanx writer, you’ll hear the rhythm of your work with SHOOK SHOOK or FITT-FITT.”
