The Melbourn Squash Club in the U.K has a new logo that Fast Co. Design has described as “the most perfect thing”.
Designd by Distil Studio, the design looks more like a messy, squiggly scribble than an official logo—it is definitely not what one would expect of a sports club logo.
However, it manages to bring across the energy and speed of the game far better than any design that features rackets or figures in athletic poses—visualizing the very motion of the sport, the creators of the logo took inspiration “from every thwack, thud, squeak and sneaky drop shot to form their unique club initial”.
