Japanese designer Keita Suzuki of design firm Product Design Center has designed ‘The Tear Drop Chair’, a chair that resembles a large tear drop.
It contains 64 liters of water, the volume of tears that an average human is said to shed 64 during their lifetime.
Created from 0.3mm thick Vinyl plastic and water, this large teardrop is designed to give people the experience of ‘sitting on water’. It also acts as a magnifying lens, just like a water droplet is nature’s magnifying lens.
