Creatives who are working in agencies should be familiar with the grueling long working hours of their jobs.
Hence, in an effort to enforce better work-life balance, creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong has launched an internal initiative urging staff to leave the office at a stated time.
Named ‘Bark You Up At 6:45’, the program will take place twice a month—the agency will switch off its lights and air-conditioning at 6.45pm, imploring its employees to leave work. Prior to the ‘shutdown’, reminders will be issued.
To top it off, dogs would even be released to drive out employees who choose to stay on.
Managing director of Saatchi & Saatchi South China, Alexis Chiu, said, “It’s a Win-Win-Win situation. Cutting down on energy means the earth wins. Leaving early means our staff wins. And with happy, efficient staff who produce better work, our clients win. That’s creativity at its best.”
