Following its recent move to donate part of its online and retail holiday sales to mark World AIDS Day, Apple has changed the color of its iconic logo in its flagship store in Sydney to red on 1 December 2014, making it the first store to kick-start the 24-hour (RED) AIDS campaign running in selected Apple stores across the world.
The red Apple logo, which serves as a colorful mark of support and awareness for World AIDS Day, can also be spotted in various countries across Europe, the United States, and Japan, as soon as their respective timezones kick in on Monday.
Apple’s striking makeover for its logo is part of a collaboration with (RED), which started in 2012.
