‘Blackout City’ is a beautiful time-lapse video by UK-based photographer Nicholas Buer that attempts to show what the night sky would look like if there ever were a blackout in London.
Working on the project since August 2013, Buer could only gather footage when conditions were right. He wrote: “The city shots were captured during the day and processed to look like night and the night sky shots were captured from dark locations around the South of England to ensure that the stars are astronomically correct for the latitude of London.”
