Remember the ‘StreetPong’ concept game from two years ago?
The designers behind the interactive game of pong have turned it into a reality—they developed a fully functional device and debuted it in the German city of Hildesheim two weeks ago.
Renamed ‘ActiWait’, it was installed at a street crossing and lets pedestrians play pong with a person on the other side.
Designers Amelie Künzler and Sandro Engel are planning to develop more variations of the smart traffic light button, and are currently raising funds on Indiegogo.
