After being intrigued with the new Crossguard Lightsaber featured in the recent Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, a team of designers from The FabShop decided to create their own 3D-printed replica of the debatable weapon.
“We couldn’t help but try to find out by ourselves if this “crossguard” design was a good configuration or not... So we decided to build one, with our army of 3D printers,” said the team.
The team came up with a customizable design with a modular system, letting Star Wars fans create their own versions of the lightsaber.
