Amazing Large-Scale, Photo-Realistic Portraits Made Of Shredded Poems

UK artist Jamie Poole has used an incredibly painstaking method to create his large-scale, photo-realistic portraits—by slicing up lines of poetry and then putting them together to form the image.

Requiring a high level of meticulous work and a lot of patience, the artist has made three such typographic portraits—made of printed text stripes—to date.

Using the words from love poems and letters that he and his wife wrote to each another, Poole has recently started experimenting with adding colors to his artworks.
