Fantastic Doodles From The Sketchbooks Of The World’s Top Comic Artists

It is always interesting to look into the notebooks of creatives—like these sketchbooks of typographers.

Compiling unseen works from the personal files of 80 comic artists,—including legendary names like Robert Crumb and Marvel’s Jim Steranko—Comics Sketchbooks: The Private Worlds of Today’s Most Creative Talents is a fascinating look into the artistic process of comic-making.

The works documented in the book include both rough drafts and finished drawings that look good enough to print—they also reveal the individual quirks of each artist.

For instance, some of the featured artists have doodled on the strangest canvases, such a cardboard parcel, a red paper folder and pieces of Post-It notes.

This book of fantastic doodles is now available on Amazon.
