American artist Craig Alan has recreated large-scale versions of iconic celebrity portraits by using human beings to put together their faces.
Carefully positioned groups of standing people form the likeness of famous people such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley.
To accomplish this, the subjects wear dark clothing for contrast against the white ground—working like pixels, every person appears as a dot and collectively form the outlines of the familiar faces.
