According to to the experts at the Association of the German Sanitation Industry and the Messe Frankfurt,—the co-sponsors of “Pop up my Bathroom”—the pop-up, mobile bathroom is going to be a big hit in bathroom design this year.
After polling groups of people,—many of whom mentioned a desire for a view or access to a balcony or garden—they have also created a prototype of what is supposed to be the “dream bathroom”.
Apparently, the ideal modern bathroom is a transparent, portable “bubble” pavilion—named the “Bathroom Bubble”—that gives its users an uninterrupted view in all directions, making them “feel a little closer to nature”.
Furnished with a bath-tub, a sink and a lounge chair, the designers of this inflatable structure have curiously neglected to equip it with a toilet.
Although it is definitely pretty to look at, we are quite sure that most people will feel much too self-conscious in it to take a relaxing bath—what do you think?
