Ah, New York, New York—aren’t you just about the most popular city in the world? If cities were celebrities, you’d definitely rank among the top; not just as a destination but also as a film site.
The filming of movies like Breakfast at Tiffany’s, When Harry Met Sally and The Amazing Spider-man immortalized not only Audrey Hepburn, Meg Ryan and our trusty Peter Parker on the reel, but the ever-changing cosmopolitan city of New York as well.
TV writer and ‘filmopgrapher’ Christopher Moloney started a personal project where he would print stills from movies, match it to a location he recognized, hold it up and snap a picture.
The resulting picture would then feature the classic still from the movie juxtaposed against modern-day New York.
According to Moloney, his friends loved the images and we have to say that we love them too.
Can you identify all movies in the following pictures?
