US artist Ryan McGinness has created a collection of signs that are installed on the streets of Manhattan by the New York City Department of Transportation.
The project titled “Signs, 2014”, showcases 50 different artworks that give truthful thoughts about life—for instance, a skateboarder bound in strings like a puppet suggest the working restrictions under a corporate sponsor.
His artworks will be on view on the streets until 30 August 2014, but are slowly disappearing as people started bringing his artworks home.
