Vancouver-based industrial designer Steven Enns has created the ‘Transfold Backpack’, an elegant origami-like backpack that can expand to hold more belongings.
Made of natural vegetable-tanned leather, it features an intriguing “origami-style expansion and contraction system” that stretches to accommodate more stuff as needed.
The backpack softens and molds to your most-carried items, creating a bond between you and the bag.
The best part is the leather will age wonderfully over time, and will only look and feel better with use.
What do you think of the ‘Transfold Backpack’—would you carry it?
