New York-based architect firm E/L STUDIO was commissioned to convert and design a horse stable that was built in the 1800’s into a live-work space.
A spacious studio occupies the first floor, while the second floor functions like a normal home for the residents, with bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and a living room.
E/L STUDIO preserved some of the previous decor, such as the “exposed heavy timber structure, masonry and horse tether rings”.
