Photographer Creates Digital Composites Of A City's Congested Streets

To show Singapore’s diversity and energy, photographer Danny Santos created several composite images by shooting random strangers as they walk around the city’s streets.

In his project ‘Shooting Singapore Street Composites’, Santos placed his tripod in selected spots of the city, and captured a single scene from 30 minutes to an hour.

After digitally merging various elements, such as pedestrians and stray pigeons, from his photos into a single image with Photoshop, Santos’ work resembled congested scenes of office workers, locals, tourists, and shoppers walking in various directions, making you wonder if anyone could weave through the human traffic easily.

Santos said that he wanted his work to capture the way he sees and feels the energy of the crowd in each scene.

Take a look at his work below.
