Abbey Road (1969)
UK-based home cinema brand Superfi has a fun series of photographs that imagines what it would be like if Apple designed and sold The Beatles’ albums.
Musing if the band’s own Apple Records and the US tech giant were the same entity, it gave iconic Beatles album covers a makeover and the results are intriguing.
While the original cover for The Beatles’ third album A Hard Day’s Night shows fun portraits of the four members, the redesigned cover features them displayed as icons like on an Apple gadget’s home screen.
And instead of Abbey Road’s famous zebra crossing photograph, the tweaked album cover features silhouettes of the band members crossing the road wearing iPod earbuds.
