Man Weaves 3,888 Photos Together In An Incredible Image Of The Four Seasons

The above image is a result of splicing 3,888 photos together, shot in the span of a year—with January on the left and December on the right.



Four years ago, Norwegian Eirik Solheim spent 2010 photographing the changing seasons. He captured one image every 30 minutes for the entire year. As his camera had a pixel resolution of 3888x2592, he chose 3,888 images from the pool of 16,000 photos. Then he created the above stunning image using the first line of pixels from the first image, the second line from the second photo and so on.



Thus, what resulted is a brilliant masterpiece depicting the metamorphosis of the entire year’s seasons in one-pixel-wide slices.



Solheim has also created the following video using his images, ‘One Year In 40 Seconds’.



Adding to the awesome mix of works is a Redditor, only known as iTwitchToo, who has created an animation showcasing the seasonal transformation.
