Following their recent experiment with the “Create Your Taste” gourmet burgers in Sydney, McDonald’s will be testing their tablet-like kiosks in the US, beginning with 30 restaurants in five states.
Previously, the fast food chain has tested the customizable burger system in selected outlets in Southern California. McDonald’s aims to offer the new menu in 2,000 outlets across the US by 2015.
In the “Create Your Taste” platform, customers can “build” their own burgers from an extensive menu that offers more varieties of bread, cheese, toppings and other fresh ingredients.
According to USA Today, a customized burger with a medium drink and fries will cost you approximately US$8.29, a slightly higher price from the fast food chain’s US$5 Value Meals.
What would you include in your customized burgers at McDonald’s?

Cheese
